On July 24 2010, people can become part of “Life in a Day”, which is an online experiment from YouTube that intends to document different people’s lives. This documentary film is being produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Kevin Macdonald, with YouTube as the official video partner.
People all around the world living regular lives can take a significant part of this global event, which is aimed to create the largest user-generated feature film in the world. The documentary will be shot and captured all in one day, which will involve everyone who will be submitting their own videos on YouTube.
The countdown is now at 2 days! The most fascinating videos will be chosen and shown at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2011.
