This past weekend, July 17th & 18th, 2010, Remington “capped” the prestigious list of main sponsors for the much anticipated 7th annual Strawberry Fields Triathlon & Multi Sport Festival at the Oxnard State Beach Park. This event was definitely for the “moving” kind. Over 1200 athletes, ages 11 to 83 competed in either a 5k run, duathlon, sprint triathlon or olympic triathlon!
The sold-out event boasted top brands next to Remington including Disney, Fox, Mercedes Benz, Shoe Dog, Trek, Spin Doctors, Power Balance, O.N.E. Water, Bling H20, HiBall Energy, Fluid, Guitar Center, and Fresh & Easy. Thousands of people from around the globe showed up in support of the Arc Foundation of Ventura County and Remington was there to cheer them on! Thanks to everyone’s generous contribution, the Arc Foundation will be presented a check for tens of thousands of dollars and once again, Remington helped create this “moving” moment.
