The Donation of Delivery & Assembly for an Entire Classroom’s Furniture…

Ms. McConnell's New Classroom, Robert F. Kennedy Elementary

Remington Delivers: Higher Learning for Robert F. Kennedy Elementary…

While it may not have been an Emily Dickenson poem, it was certainly poetry in motion! Remington’s seamless execution of the Hertz Furniture donation for a 4th grade classroom at Robert F. Kennedy Elementary School created quite a media buzz this morning!

With plans for a local fund-raiser, the determined students of Ms. McConnell’s class humbly sent a letter requesting a mere discount to replace their broken 50-year-old classroom furniture.  And Hertz Furniture, together with Remington Moving & Storage answered – in a big way! On hand to promote the donation of this local classroom furniture installation (and future adoptions of other deserving classrooms), was KCal-9 & CBS2 News along with celebrity DJ (and local do-good-er), Bigg Pwee of KJLH radio.

Hopefully the efforts made by Remington & Hertz will shed some light on California’s faltering education system and inspire other local businesses to follow their lead.

If your company or organization is interested in adopting a classroom at Robert F. Kennedy Elementary (or another deserving school, please contact the marketing department at 866-668-3397 x41 or email charity@remingtonmovers.com for more information on discounts and coordination.

Thanks to the deserving students at RFT, we are reminded of what’s really important – the education and future of our local youth…

Tune in to CBS 2 News at 5pm to see how these determined 4th graders and their teacher took the future of their education into their own hands and became an inspiration to children and teachers everywhere.
